I am from Salem/Keizer in the Willamette Valley. Currently I have 11 years experience in the Montessori setting. In the summer of 2017 I completed my AMI Montessori Primary training. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy playing handbells and working backstage for community theater. I look forward to being a part of the River Song School community.
My name is Amber Dean and I am a mother to 3 beautiful children. I have been working within a Montessori classroom for 10 years now and have officially completed my training to be a certified Montessori teacher. My hobbies include photography, being outside with my kids, swimming, and walking my dog. I am born and raised right here in Bend. Teaching children has been a passion of mine for many years and am looking forward to serving the community.
I would like to introduce myself as the new After Care Director and Assistant in Aspen and would like to tell you a little about myself and my history in childcare. My name is Julie Stamper, a mother of two and a grandmother of five. Children have been a passion of mine, for as long as I remember. The beginning of my childcare experience was in the late 1980’s. I revisited that career choice in 2005 when opening my own childcare facility. The 10 years I spent in childcare provided me with a deeper understanding of children and their needs. My hobbies include spending time outdoors, kayaking, hiking, photography, and spending time with my grandchildren. My passion is building a better future for society. This may be accomplished by developing a child’s self-esteem and providing the necessary tools for them to make the best possible choices now and in their future. Together, we can accomplish this goal. I look forward to meeting each of you.
